Old Man Guitar Chords
Old Man is a song by Canadian singer–songwriter Neil Young. It was released as a single from his 1972 album, Harvest. The song is one of Young‘s best–known and most popular songs, and has been covered by a number of artists. Old Man was written by Young in 1971, while he was living on a ranch in northern California. The song is about the relationship between a young man and an old man, and the lessons the old man teaches the young man. The song is told from the perspective of the young man, and is full of nostalgia for the days when he was younger and the old man was still alive. The song is based on a real–life experience that Young had when he was living on the ranch. One day, he came across an old man who was living in a shack on the property. The old man, who was in his mid–80s, had been living there for over 50 years. The two men struck up a friendship, and the old man would often tell Young stories about his life.
