The music video for “Better Man” was directed by Lochlainn McKenna and filmed in Dublin, Ireland. It depicts a teenage romance blossoming in 1993, and they become estranged after the boy ignores her after a school performance, but they soon get back together. The same girl is shown in the recording studio where the band is singing the song, all grown up. She is married to that same boy, and they have a kid together.

“Better Man” was a commercial success, peaking at number two on the Irish Singles Chart and number seven on the UK Singles Chart. It has been certified Gold in the UK by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI).
